11th Annual Northern Ink Xposure Hosts Tattooing’s Biggest Stars with Contemporary Fashion Shows, Skulls, Exhibit, and Good Old Rock N Roll

Toronto, Ontario. Why have tattoos become so popular? Northern Ink Xposure tattoo convention is a gathering of collectors, artists and fans celebrating the art, tattoo fashion, and the
subculture . The Toronto Hilton will open its doors to collectors and the curious from June 19-21st to celebrate the 11th annual Northern Ink Xposure, one of the largest tattoo conventions on the planet.

The theme of this years Northern Ink Xposure is Tattooing and contemporary fashion with good ol Rock n Roll. In tandem with this, tattoos.com has joined forces with the North by North East Music Festival (NXNE) to hold an opening party at the Berkley Cathedral featuring this year’s Skulls Exhibit. The exhibit will hold ceramic skulls, custom decorated by renowned artists attending Northern Ink Xposure, curated by
Manuela Gray, creator of the first skulls exhibit at our sister show SIX, in Cape Town, South
Africa this past January, which was a tremendous success. Skulls will start at the Berkley Cathedral in Toronto at 7pm on Wednesday, June 17th and will move to the Hilton for the duration of NIX. Selected artists will participate in the Art Fusion Experiment that evening, under the guidance of Paul Booth. The final paintings and
skulls will be sold at a silent auction all weekend at the Hilton to benefit Art City in St. Jamestown.

Joining us at the convention are special celebrity tattoo artists Paul Booth, Bob Tyrell, and Lyle Tuttle. Paul Booth is well-known as the new king of rock, tattooing the likes of Slayer and Fred Durst. Bob Tyrrell is mostfamous for designing Kid Rocks American Eagle tattoo and is fresh from a guest appearance on the TLC show L.A. Ink with Kat Von D. Tattoo legend Lyle Tuttle is celebrated as the father of modern
tattoo and is famous for inking Janis Joplin, the Allman Brothers and a long list of other notorious clients.

In an exciting jump from your typical fashion show, were featuring tattooed models in coloured corsets and cutesy dresses. The NIX Gods Girls Fashion Show, hosted by Purrfect Pineapples and Healing Heart Designs, will be presenting a new spin on the Pin-Up style, bringing something
